Over the hump 是指度過最困難時期，已度過一半時間。那為什麼星期三是Over the hump day呢?一般來說，工作天或是上課天是星期一到星期五，星期三剛好是過了一半的時間，因為如此，大家統稱星期三是Over the hump day。大家普遍在這天都會很高興，因為在過兩天就是weekend囉!
